A curious potpourri

While this is not one of my favorite Nina Kiriki Hoffman books, this collection does do an excellent job of showcasing the range of her writing. Hoffman's stories can generally be seen as springing from some question, but where the story goes will seldom be the answer that anyone else would come up with. As always, her characters, however odd they may be, are well developed and relatable. No, this is not one of my favorite Nina Kiriki Hoffman books, but, like all of her books, it is still a book that I am very fond of.
