I used to read a lot of horror, but for the past few years I just haven’t been able to. Every now and then I’ll hear about a horror novel that sounds appealing and give it a try, but I almost never get past the first chapter or two. So I finally decided to give up entirely.
Until I heard that Tanya Huff had a “cozy” horror novel. I have been enjoying Huff’s books for decades, and while I couldn’t really figure out what cozy horror would be, I decided I had to try it. And it’s…cozy horror. Don’t ask me to define it, but that’s definitely what this is, and it’s an absolute delight. If it in any way sounds interesting to you, read it!
