A quick, enjoyable read, with lots of illustrations of ukuleles and ukulele memorabilia. Plenty of useful information for someone new to ukes, and probably even more so to someone with no stringed instrument experience, since it includes tips on things like choosing and replacing strings, and general maintenance. Also includes a short history of the ukulele.
